Sclerotherapy treatment
is good for the treatment of spider veins, reticular
veins, or blue veins, as well as large veins on the back and
side of the calf and thigh areas. Injection of spider and telangectatic
veins usually does not require wearing compression stockings;
however, larger veins do. Sclerotherapy treatments are less
painful in the treatment of spider veins than laser spider vein
removal. The injection associated sclerotherapy treatment feels
like a mosquito bite that lasts a few seconds. The cost of treating
spider veins using sclerotherapy treatments are less expensive
than laser spider vein removal.
